The Night Stalker

The Night Stalker

By: Mary Grace Tolentino Sulla

What an exquisite face

What alluring eyes

Who would have thought that you could hurt someone?

The deceitful light, the dark halo behind those lies

Has been hiding the fearless, wrathful demon

Ready to unleash all the anger and pain

He has bottled up inside him

Let the madness and evil reign

What horrific ideals

What horrendous words

Who would have thought that it would come from someone

Who was young and seemingly innocent?

The violent wind, the blood and the scent of fear

Of all the victims you have guiltlessly raped and killed

They cry, they scream, they squeal

While you cover their mouths with your filthy hands

The blade goes to their throats

And here you are proud, you even gloat

The stench of air and the odor of a goat

Fill and permeate those secret places

Do you even remember their faces?

The occult power you boast

You said it comes from the devil himself

You will pay for your hideous crimes

You will pay for your sins and wickedness

The prince of darkness and lies

Whom you faithfully served will no longer save you

The ghosts of your victims will haunt you

May you squirm, rot and burn in hell!

Master Wu, soulmate drawing

A few nights ago, I came across an advertisement on YouTube and it caught my inquisitive eye. It’s about a Chinese psychic who draws, not the portrait of his client or any specific person, but the soulmate of that client. So I got curious. I wanted to see what my soulmate looks like. As my friends know, I currently have a boyfriend and I am in a healthy relationship with him. However, the ad is intriguing enough that I eventually paid for the drawing to see if my “soulmate” looks like my current boyfriend. I couldn’t remember how much I paid. My estimate is about 1,200 pesos.

Just today, in the morning, I finally received the drawing.

Here is the drawing and the description of the guy’s personality traits.

To be honest, I was disappointed. The drawing doesn’t look like my current boyfriend. My heart sank. But to be objective, he passes the male beauty standards in the Philippines. As you can see, he has almond (chinito) eyes, clean-cut hair, and he’s wearing a black shirt, in the drawing. He is handsome, he seems to be either a military man or a policeman, based on his built and the way he carries himself. If you’re my friend, you’ll know that type of guy isn’t my type. I like a rugged man who is into art and rock music. Not someone who is an eye candy and a medium-built, non-skinny version of Ion Perez. If I were a different girl, then maybe I will dig that look.

Is the drawing worth the price? I think so. The price is reasonable since it is quite a good drawing. Even though it looks generic, it does look lively and the colors are nice.

So like I said, I got disappointed that the drawing doesn’t look like my current boyfriend. I messaged my witch friend about this. My dear friend asked me if the psychic lives in Quezon City. According to her, people who claim to be psychics who live in QC are fakes. Well, according to the advertisement Master Wu is from China. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt.

My friend said that the term soulmate doesn’t necessarily mean your future boyfriend or significant other. Your soulmate can be a friend who might help and guide you in your life’s journey. According to her, “the drawing doesn’t mean anything. He might be your alternative self in an alternate universe. You will know that someone is your soulmate if you have been through hell and if you pass all the obstacles that come along your way.”

Well, that’s a good explanation. 🙂

Since I’m already in a relationship, I opted not to take this seriously. It’s just a fun experiment as a curious person.

My sister, who btw is single, wants to try this.
